I'm the primary engineer on the Keenu One storefront — 72% of a 190,000-line Next.js 16 / React 19 codebase, with three merchant brands live on their own domains and more in progress. I own the delivery path around it too: the 661-file test suite, Playwright browser journeys, the Prometheus and web-vitals instrumentation, Docker, CI/CD and staging deploys.

I'm also the top contributor to that storefront's Go backend-for-frontend, and before this I led frontend on Pakistan's largest B2C grocery web app — Core Web Vitals: Passed, INP 169 ms, Lighthouse 92, organic search from zero to 156K clicks under Pakistani 3G/4G conditions.

Senior software engineer, nearly six years, building B2C web for emerging-market users. Today I'm the primary engineer on the Keenu One storefront — a multi-tenant commerce platform where one Next.js 16 codebase serves many restaurant brands on their own domains. I wrote 72% of its 190,000 lines; three brands are live in production and more are in progress.

I don't stop at the browser. I'm the top contributor to that storefront's Go backend-for-frontend, I own the storefront's Docker, CI/CD and staging deploys, and I built its performance instrumentation — a web-vitals RUM reporter feeding Prometheus, so the numbers come from real merchant traffic. Before this I led frontend on Pakistan's largest B2C grocery web app and took it to Core Web Vitals: Passed (INP 169 ms, LCP down 40%, Lighthouse 92) with organic search from ~0 to 156K clicks.

I work with coding agents daily, and the part I care about is the scaffolding that makes it safe: typed API clients, 661 test files, registry-driven parity suites and lint-enforced module boundaries. Architecture decisions and every merge stay mine.

  • ·Primary engineer on the Keenu One storefront — 72% of a 190,000-line Next.js 16 / React 19 codebase (1,312 files), with the next contributor under 8%. Three merchant brands live on their own domains: sirocpk.com, ifyoulikecheese.com, downsouth.coffee — more in progress.
  • ·Designed the theme architecture: eight visually isolated themes (six of them mine) behind a registry and typed config contract, tenant resolution in edge middleware, and ESLint-enforced module boundaries. Registry-driven parity suites fail a new theme by name until it complies.
  • ·Built the quality gate — 555 of the 661 unit test files (Vitest) and all 16 Playwright browser journeys, plus design-token contract and theme-parity checks running on every push.
  • ·Sole-authored the production performance instrumentation: a web-vitals RUM reporter, its collection endpoint, and the Prometheus metrics layer — so INP, LCP and CLS come from real merchant traffic, not synthetic runs.
  • ·Top contributor to the storefront's Go BFF (about a quarter of the Go codebase). Owner of the storefront's Docker image, Makefile tooling, GitHub Actions and staging deploys. In the Go identity service: merchant/admin endpoint gates, Zitadel IAM membership checks, service-account token caching, OpenAPI generation with a CI drift check.
  • ·Own the storefront-configuration surface in the Keenu One merchant portal (React 19 + Vite) at 77% of that feature's code — the theme, branding and SEO editors that drive every live storefront.
  • ·Lead author of the Keenu corporate site (keenu.pk) — the public payments / POS marketing site, on Next.js + Tailwind.
  • ·Earlier: lead frontend on bazaarapp.com (Next.js + NestJS BFF). Co-led the image + CDN pipeline — 40% p75 LCP cut, INP 169 ms, Core Web Vitals: Passed at Lighthouse 92, organic search 0 → 156K clicks on 11.2M impressions, ~$5,400/yr CDN saving. Built the PM-designed gamification feature and drove the MUI → Tailwind + Radix migration; average order value rose 47%. The platform was retired in 2026 when the company pivoted.

Primary engineer — 72% of the surviving source (about 137,000 of 190,000 lines across 1,312 files); the next contributor accounts for under 8%. One Next.js 16 / React 19 codebase serves many restaurants, each on their own branded domain: tenancy resolves in edge middleware, pages are server-rendered with JSON-LD for SEO, and eight visually isolated themes (six of them mine) sit behind a registry and a typed config contract, with ESLint-enforced boundaries so themes never import each other. Cross-theme behaviour is held by registry-driven parity suites that fail a new theme by name until it complies. Three brands are live — Siroc, If You Like Cheese and Down South — with more in progress. I built the menu, cart (Zustand), checkout and order tracking, 555 of the 661 Vitest test files and all 16 Playwright browser journeys, and the performance instrumentation: a web-vitals RUM reporter feeding Prometheus. The merchant-facing control panel for the Keenu One platform — a React 19 + Vite SPA. I own its storefront-configuration surface at 78% of that feature's code (9,299 of 11,964 lines): the theme, branding and SEO editors that drive every live storefront, plus dashboard and POS-kiosk screens. The wider app — built with the team — also covers catalog/menu management, branches, map-based delivery zones, a canvas floor-plan editor, promotions, role-based access and analytics.

Flagship B2C e-commerce web for Pakistan's largest grocery platform (Next.js + NestJS). Co-led the image-optimization + CDN pipeline that took Core Web Vitals from failing to Passed (40% p75 LCP cut, INP 169 ms, Lighthouse 92) under Pakistani 3G/4G conditions. Organic search grew from ~0 to 156K total clicks / 11.2M impressions (Google Search Console). Cut CDN spend by ~$5,400/year. Drove the MUI → Tailwind + Radix migration on the same app. The platform was decommissioned in 2026 when the company pivoted to Keenu — the case study keeps the captured receipts.
